Sunday shopping downtown for KT's wedding at Williams-Sonoma with Mykah &Nikki. We were madly hunting down a baking stone.

All week long this is the sight I have to walk by to get to and from my car because the library parking lot has been blocked off due to construction. The funny thing is that the construction company blocked off both of the parking lots and it doesn't really seem like the are using any part of either. Do the construction workers laugh at us as we all walk by with our loaded bags in the morning?

Seriously, this is my new addiction. I met up with my new friend, Maria and her husband Sam in Downtown Disney after Blackboard World and this is what they ordered. They were generous and shared it with me. That was the end for me. One might say that they are contributers to my delinquency. One also needs to know that this ice cream is not for the people who take their rum lightly. It is full of rum flavor. It would be amazing in a Coke float minus the raisins. Wouldn't that be fabulous on a hot summer day?

So we own a pool, but apparently tonight my daughter prefers the sprinkler. Maybe it is because the pool is 89 degrees. I do love that new pool cover! Who needs a heater? What a way to celebrate summer since it finally decided to get here.

#Fail: Photo a Day
Here I go again! I start this and cannot seem to finish it. I really need to get a system here on how to do this. Any suggestion on how to make this easier on myself. I start, I quit, I beat myself up! Somehow it seems that my creativity is falling behind. Where to begin & what is the system that makes this a bit easier for those of us who easily get distracted?

March 11-So I am back! Day 1 of 365!
Since today is my birthday, I thought this would be a good time to re-start my project 365. It is a bit different than what other people are doing. Most people start the project on Jan 1, but this year I thought I would start it on my birthday and do a year of my life. Hopefully I will keep up this time! My birthday actually started with a great lunch with my mom yesterday and went on to be a great day today. What could be better? Lunch at Twigs with a friend, a nice happy birthday from my daughters and some of my students, some nice notes on Facebook, a few cards and emails from family and friends, a couple of phone calls and a home cooked meal from my husband. I took my first photo for this 365 project this morning of my birthday presents from my daughter and my husband. My iTune's card from my youngest and my first set of new skis-Nordicas-Drive. Hopefully the new tunes and the new skis will make me a wee bit better on the mountain tomorrow. Stay tuned.
